Question ASUS Geforce GTX 1050 2gb Drivers Wont Install.

Hello, so i have a problem that has been going on for a while now. So I have a windows 8.1 64x system and i have a ASUS GTX 1050 Model: PH-GTX1050-2 and the latest drivers won't install. I have tried many choices, and none of them worked. I hope some person would help me. Before I move on Here are my specs.
Computer Specs:

CPU: Intel 2 Quad CPU Q9550 2.83Ghz
Ram: 6gb DDR2
OS: Windows 8.1
GPU: ASUS Geforce GTX 1050
Motherboard: Rampage |
Alright, so the main issue is that whenever i try to install a driver for my gpu it fails, the main failure is the Graphics Driver. Thats all I can say for right now, I hope i can receive help.

I assume your monitor is plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard?

Does the GPU work? What kind of performance does it have?

Hello, yes the monitor is plugged into my GPU. It has been a year ever since i first got my GPU and it has been running fine the entire time until now. The GPU Itself works and it has a Medium to high performance depending on the game or software

If it's working well then don't worry about updateing drivers

Well with the basic display driver I can barely run anything.

Oh I thought you were just trying to update them. Download ddu to completely wipe the old ones. Then try again. Wipe the old ones in safe mode

I've already tried that already and it hasn't worked. I have tried it 4 different times. I'm very confused

So what happened to the old drivers originally? Have you tried installing not the newest ones?

Yes, I have. I still wonder whats happening.. uh so ive already tried DDU so all the old drivers are gone and there are some files on my pc from my more recent attempts

Can you try a different pci slot?
