Hello everyone.

I have a GTX 970 turbo OC edition and i5 4690k.

In Asus GPU tweak, my current settings are:

GPU Boost clock(MHz): 1228

Max GPU voltage(mV): 1175

Memory Clock(MHz): 7010

Power Target: 0100

Fan speed: 0032

My question is, would it be safe to increase these values and would there be a slight increase in performance? If I can increase, what would you recommend? Thanks.

Solution
If you want to overclock it more, I'd recommend using MSI afterburner over any other program for the 900 series. and you can just drag the Voltages bar all the way up and bump up the Mhz by about 100 or so and keep going higher till you hit a crash, then you can lower it accordingly and keep testing it to see if it won't crash. Use unigine valley for this test. It should be able to overclock more if those are the default OC settings on the card. Don't worry about the voltages. Graphics cards will almost never burn out do to this unless you turn off the safety for adding to much volts.

I have a GPU from ASUS. Can I still use MSI afterburner?

Yes you can any GPU can work with MSI afterburner. anything pascal though I'd use EVGA precision. but since your's isn't pascal then use MSI afterburner :)

Should I uninstall GPU Tweak then before installing MSI afterburner?

Ok thanks for the replies.
