Hello, i've recently found a gtx 460 at a good price, i know it s an old one but it is still mediocre and i want to assemble a second pc with it, my problem is, i have an old 350w psu, enermax, and so far it held up pretty good. now my question, will i be able to run the gtx 460 on this one at least for a while? or just to test it? will it work if i connect it with 2x 2 molex to 6 pin adapter? i know the gtx 460 requires 2x6 pin..the psu im talking about has the following specs:
+3.3V@32A, +5V@32A, +12V@26A, -5V@1A, -12V@1A, +5VSB@2.2A

Solution
It *might*work, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Generally, if the PSU doesn't have the appropriate connectors, you shouldn't be using it.

The GTX 460 was a 150W card, that's a lot of strain on a (likely) poor PSU that can supposedly only do 312W on the 12V rail.

okay, thanks. i will most likely buy another psu, i just wanted to try it out to see if it still works untill i buy a new psu. i guess i will and hope for the best. one more question. if i buy a psu, that has somewhere around 36-37A on the 12v rail, somewhere about 450w, and only one pci e connector and i connect only one "molex to 6 pin connector", will i still have problems with it?
