Hello everyone!

I recently bought a brand new Asus GTX 750 TI for my humble system. \

here are the specs:
- OS - Windows 10 64 bits
- Motherboard - Asrock B85M-DGS
- RAM - 8 gigs ddr3 single stick
- The video card used to be Nvidia GTS 250
- Power supply 550w
- HDD 500gigs

So here is the story:
My system used to run Windows 7 64 with the old card but when i installed the new card the system would not even notice it and automatically ran the on-board. Since then i have tried all of the solutions that are on here including:

- Making sure there is power to the video card (no extra power connectors to that card) and that the card is connected properly to the PCIe 3.
- Updating my BIOS
- Making sure the BIOS settings are correct (boot from PCIe3 first )
- Updating my OS from W7 to W10
- Changing the card to make sure the PCIe3 is working - the other card boots up
- Changing the system to make sure the Asus GTX 750 works , it works on the other system with no issue
- Updating all drivers (i am unable to install Nvidia drivers since they do not detect the graphics card.
- Installing all on-disk drivers that i could from the disc.
- Checked in the device manager to see if there are any unrecognized devices - there are none , the card does not show under Display Adapters.
- Uninstalling on-board drivers and trying to boot the card (no result)
- Changed the power supply anyway to 750w still no joy
- Jumped the BIOS
- Resetting BIOS setting and the CMOS
Any ideas are welcome, thank you!

P.S. Just to be clear , if the card is on the pcie slot the computer still boots up and gives the single beep , but even if the cable is connected to the graphics card it will boot up the on-board and the computer will get no signal , when i move the cable to the on-board the monitor lights up.

Changing the power supply won't help because the pci ex slot can only deliver 75W and the card consumes only 60W.

If the card is not even being detected in the system at all and the same card is working on the other system without an issue then you and i both know it is a hardware issue... Probably your motherboard is failing.... That is the only explanation....

One last thing you can do.. Try to clear CMOS and try again unless you have done that already.... Also try using a different RAM stick....
Anyway one single beep means everything is normal...

The motherboard works with other video cards , including gts 250
also i have reset the CMOS both ways (via BIOS and via battery)
