Asus GTX 750 Ti with Dell Optiplex 960 SFF and System without Casing

Hello everyone, I have a Dell Optiplex 960 Small Form Factor (SFF) which has Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz (LGA 775 Socket) with 8GB DDR2 RAM (As my motherboard is also DDR2), 2TB Seagate Hard Drive and a 235 Watts Power Supply Unit (PSU) (I will replace it with 300-350W PSU). I want to buy an Asus Geforce GTX 750 Ti for gaming so I want to ask that as my PC only supports Low Profile Graphics Cards while the gtx 750 ti is full height so I want to ask that can I remove the casing and place the motherboard on a cardboard and then connect all the components and perform gaming on that system? My Desktop is right now placed at a higher place to where my 2 year old little brother can not reach and I don't have a pet who could damage the naked PC.

Yes you can, of course only if you upgrade your power supply. The default motherboard that comes with Optiplex 960 SFF comes with 1 Pci-e x16 slot so the GTX 750 ti will be no problem. The space of course will be enough without the case, good luck.

That is the problem that Low Profile GTX 750 Ti is not available in my area

One more thing to ask, would a third party power supply (Like Corsair) fit in my Dell Optiplex 960 SFF casing? I am asking because if low profile edition of gtx 750 ti is available then there would be no need for removing the casing

Power supplies fitting in cases depends on both the things. Usually Micro-ATX power supplies are used these days and Micro ATX is one of the few types of cases. So a Micro-ATX power supply will fit in a Micro ATX case.
