Asus GTX 970 not viewing help!

I am new to making computers and I have run into a problem. I plugged everything in and the Asus LED light lit up I don't know what's wrong with it. I tried looking it up online and I cannot find anything for it except for the it might be the power connectors. Is this a newly built rig, using a GTX970, but, with no display at all upon it's first ever power-on attempt? (Or was it previously working, and your replaced the GPU with a GTX970, and now have no display?)

(Ensure your GPU has it's required external power inputs connected to your PSU, and that your MB has it's supplemental CPU power connected)

It is the first boot. And everything is plugged in. Today I will try to unplug everything and redo it. But I am a little worried. Thank you for replying to me.
