Dear experts,
My config is:
i5 4460
Gigabyte GA-b85m-d3h
4x4GB Kingston DDR3 1600
GTX 970 Asus Strix
Crucial MX200 240GB + Plextor M5Pro 128GB
Recently I have opportunity to exchange my 21 months old GTX 970 to a brand new Gigabyte GTX1060 3GB with almost no additional cost (7$).
I've checked and eventough the 1060 has worse numbers than GTX 970 (less shader units, ROP's, TAU's, 0,5GB VRAM less) it has better performance in games - it was quite surprising for me.
What's more - for my Asus 970 there is only 15 months of warranty left and for Gigabyte they are giving 36 months of full warranty.
Everything above suggests that it would be a good step, but maybe am I missing something?
I play mostly RPG games (Witcher, Fallout, Dragon AGe, XCOM) at 1080p.
The Gigabyte card is:

What would you say - is the exchange worth going for? I will be very grateful for pieces of advice as I have to take decision quick (until tomorrow morning).
