OK lets start here.. I have an ASUS H61M-C motherboard with 2 ram slots DRAM 1 AND 2 when I put 1 4GB Ram in the A slot it boots up... but when I insert the second 4GB in slot B it doesnt boot up....

But... when i disable the boot for slot B... it boots up and picks up the 4GB in slot B (Says usable 4GB)

but when i activate both slots it doesnt boot up again??? any help

What do you mean by "when i disable the boot for slot B "?
Is this a 2x4GB RAM kit that you purchased or two 4GB RAM modules that you purchased separately? If purchased separately, what are the individual RAM model numbers?

If each RAM module works separately, but not together, then it sounds like a RAM incompatibility with each other.

then I disable it form here then it boots up and it picks up the Ram in Slot B but its not uselable

Sorry, I purchased them separately

What is the speed of each RAM module you purchased?

In BIOS under AI Tweaker --> Memory Frequency, does it allow you to set each slot manually or does it affect both slots simultaneously? I'm assuming that it's currently set to AUTO. What happens if you manually set it to something like DDR3-800?

Interchange the RAM by using only 1 ram at a time, make sure both of them are working. It can be a bad RAM or incompatible RAMs. You should be buying it in a 4x2 kit just to make sure it's the exact identical and factory tested..

You can also try cleaning the ram's gold pin with an eraser just to make sure.
