Hi

I recently read that ASUS released a new BIOS for some of its 8-series motherboards. I was planning on building a budget PC when I discovered this. My planning includes a Pentium G3258 and 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM, however I am unsure if I should get a Z87 motherboard, or save money and go for a ASUS H87M-E. For Z87 I would for a MSI Z87-G41 PC MATE or maybe a Z87-G43. I am planning on overclocking (if possible) to +- 4.6GHz. Also, would a Hyper 212 EVO handle that? I assume so, just want to make sure.

Thanks in advance

1. I know Z is a better chipset, but the fact that I only have money for a MSI made me think to rather get a H87 ASUS motherboard, as many people say ASUS is way better for overclocking.
2. Why not?? G3258 is the ONLY unlocked Pentium. It is MADE for overclocking.

Note: Official RAM support for G3258 is DDR3-1333 maximum, you can have problems with your 1600MHz RAM and barely will overclock RAM.
So, it will be semi-overclocked system, but cheap enough.

Ok. I thought about it, and I will rather get a i3-4130 and not overclock it, with a budget MSI H81 motherboard. Is that a wise decision?
