Question How do I turn off my USB audio interface?

Endre

Honorable
Hi!

I own the following audio interface:
Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen, which does not have an On/Off button.

PROBLEM:
Everytime I turn off my PC, the audio interface remains "On", so it gets hot for no good reason.
My only solution is to unplug the power cord.

QUESTION:
Is there a setting, in the BIOS, or in Windows, that turns off the audio interface, when I turn off the PC?

MY SYSTEM:
•Motherboard: ASRock X670E Taichi (on BIOS v3.30).
•OS: Windows 11 Enterprise v24H2.
•USB Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen (on newest firmware & driver available).

Refer to the bios manual page 47 where it discusses the Deep Sleep setting. You could try the Enabled in S5 option which may shut off power to the usb ports when the motherboard is turned off:

<O.P. UPDATE>

Hello!

Thanks for the replies.

I've found a solution:
My Harman Kardon AVR Receiver has 2 AC outlets in the back side.
I've plugged in the power cord of the audio interface in one of those outlets.
Now, when I turn off the AVR, the audio interface gets turned off as well.
