Hello everyone

I recently bought a ASUS Vivobook 16 Pro OLED K6602VU-LZ951WS

It comes with 16gb of RAM (8gb soldered + 8gb sodimm slot) 4800mhz. I want to upgrade. The Asus says maximum I can expand is to 24gb. Though Crucial says I can expand to 64gb since the cpu is i9-13900H.

I would like to upgrade to atleast 32gb if that's possible. It would be best for my work. Can any expert here help me, please?

Thanks!

I would be more inclined to believe asus since they made it.

Memory: 16GB DDR5 (8GB DDR5 on board + 8GB DDR5 SO-DIMM) RAM expandable upto 24GB using 1x DDR5 SO-DIMM slot

You might be restricted to a 16gb stick since the other 8gb soldered on

there were 2 models, the 16X came with 32gb of ram

16 Pro came with 16gb, expandable to 24gb
16X Pro came with 32gb and couldn't accept any more.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, 16x have been out of stock for quite some time in my region. So couldn't it.

Can you tell what issues I might face if install say 32gb instead of 16gb in the extra slot?
