asus laptop touchpad not recognized on win7

hi
i have an asus x541ua and recently (like 2 weeks ago ) i installed win7 after i have been using win10 since a bought the laptop .
problem is windows is not recognizing the touchpad , it is even not listed in device manager so i cant install drivers for it .
any ideas ? thanks in advance

Newer intel hardware does not have drivers for anything other then Win10, this is probably the crux of your issue: missing proper required prerequisite drivers.
