Hi, yesterday I wanted to switch back from linux to windows 10. So I downloaded windows ISO & made a bootable USB.

So far it was working & I went into windows installation. And then I started to have troubles with the installation storage.

So I followed instructions I found online of opening a command prompt inside the windows installation and did diskpart command, select main ssd, clean, format, and assign the disk.

Then I tried to install again and ended into another problem, and I converted MBR to GPT with command prompt. After that, I thought I was able to install the windows, until it gave this message "windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase"

So I looked online and decided to RESTORE my bios to default setting. And then I was no longer able to see my main NVMe SSD anymore, and windows was never able to find it on installation as well.

And I looked it up online again, and accidentally formatted my recovery partition. Now I can't even boot my windows USB installation anymore.

On my BIOS > BOOT, I only see fast boot (enabled), boot option priorities. Add new boot option & delete boot option. Nothing else. Please help!!! 🙁((((

You were doing a new clean install on the drive?
There was no reason to go into diskpart and do anything.

Simply delete all the existing partitions and proceed on.

Thank you for your reply. I have read mostly of it and I knew it made mistakes.

Right now I can't even boot into USB anymore, I seem to have deleted the partition to let the system boot from USB. Is there any way to fix it?
