Greetings!

Please help me with the following;

I just got myself a decent pair of Corsair Vengence DDR3 8GB sticks at 1600MHz. My Asus M4A78LT-M LE does not post when I place those sticks in 🙁. I've read on this forum that it is an OC issue.

So, I've tried OC'ing in the BIOS to match what the memory is. Please see link with the images for the BIOS, memory & CPU-Z screenshots. Also included are screenshots of current memory at 1333MHz that works fine.

What I am missing? :??:

Thank you in advance.

@rolli59: No post. So, with the new sticks I can't even get the mobo to post.

@scout_03: I guess you are recommending that I return these sticks and just get some 1333MHz in return! Correct?

I do appreciate all the help guys...

I am at my wits end on this. Please take a look at the link below.

The Link!

With all the correct timings, and increasing the voltage to 1.62, I still could not get the mobo to post/the memory to work.

Am I missing something?

Nope, the new sticks do not work with any configuration. :pfff:

However, when I pop-in my standard 1300 sticks, the mobo posts & Windows works. So I know the issue is with the new sticks!

Thanks for the help.

Please visit this link. It has actual screen-shots & pics. of all that you inquired about.

Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again!

Yes sir! Did try the sticks one at a time and no dough! :pfff:

BIOS update? ASUS's update service is not working for me, at least not for my mobo. It just keeps connecting & disconnecting.

ok, so I'll set the mem. speed to 667Mhz, and the respective timings you mentioned, and the voltage. But what is the setting "2T" ? :??:

Thanks again!

Thank you for the link! Learned new & awesome stuff!

No mas guys!!! :pfff:

Here is what I tried....link

And again, no post. I'm afraid to up the voltage higher than 1.62, just in case I end up frying my older 1333 sticks.

A BIOS update may certainly be in order!

Ok, I can try that timing too. But, that's not the timing listed on the memory. Please see this.
