Question Asus m5a78l-m-lx3 - CPU fan always at 100%

Heyho,

I recently changed my motherboard to an Asus m5a78l-m-lx3. It has an 4 PIN CPU cooler socket, however - my cpu cooler only has 3 pins.
I read about regulating it via voltage - but I'm not able to find anything except VCORE Voltage which does not seem to change anything if I lower it.

I also bought a splitter (Aquacomputer Splitty9), but it does not help either. Fan still runs at 100% speed.

Try out the AI suite 3, it comes with the Fan Xpert 4, to see you can or can't control the speed.

Seems like Ai Suite 3 does not support Windows 10 64-bit (1809). At least I'm getting an error when installing.
