Asus M5A78L-M LX3 Not working.

Ok so my bro just got that mobo up there in title and it does not work i have put everything it in right places like gpu, ram, the cables 😀 and psu is more than enough and works because i tried with other motherboard but that motherboard also has problems like the time when you pull out power cables resets to 12/11/2012 and time 16:24 and because he has a six core it goes to a dual core, very weird i know but for first i want to know why the asus board isn't working.

I put everything in and then when start the pc up nothing comes onto the screen and there are no beeps, no idea why, it didn't come with a mobo speaker cable.

Other specs fx-6350 @ 3.9ghz but on old mobo it says 2.8ghz? dafaq old mobo is a ga-78lmt-sp2 rev 5.0
nvidia evga 770 2gb SC
8gb corsair
corsair 600w

I suggest choosing a different CPU. Check also the BIOS version (last 4 digits on a barcode sticker on the board) for choosing the right CPU.

Is that why the motherboard won't show a screen? like when the pc is turned on screen is still blank with no pc signal?

The CPU is not supported (125W). What are the last 4 digits on that sticker?
For the other board. have you tried replacing the CMOS battery with a new one (you can try with the ASUS board's one)?

Is it a white sticker? the last 4 digits 0803

THe FX are supported but up to 95W.
Try replacing the battery for the Gigabyte board.
Can you return the ASUS motherboard?

I can return but i have a different fx cpu what is supported should i try? or just send the mobo back?

You can try it, of course. What CPU?
Install it, insert single RAM stick, use the onboard graphics. Test the board outside the case.

It should work, so go ahead.
Clear the CMOS before starting the board (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for few minutes). Please post back the result.
