Asus m5a97 board rx 480 upgrade.

Hello There,
I have Asus M5a97 (https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A97) with corsair vs 650 PSU. Just wondering if it will be ok to upgrade RX 480 graphics card ? currently I have basic graphics card 1 gb nvedia galaxy 1GB.

Yes but the RX 480's best performance is with DX12 which you need Windows 10 to take advantage of

I have the same setup, but with a xilence 450w, and i have the problem, that my pc is now very slow and most things wont start/crash

Low quality PSU. replace it. You should start a new thread.
