Asus M5A97 evo red cpu light

It's the first time i build a computer. I tried switching it on but nothing happened. The cpu light is red and the mobo light is green as usual. All the fans are running. I am totally lost now, everything seems connected but it's not working

My pc spec:

Amd Fx-8350
Asus M5A97 evo
Gtx 750ti
hyperx genesis ddr3 4gb x 2
cooler master 212x
Cooler master thunder 500w
1 tb Wd blue

make sure you have the CPU power connected. If you do then something happened to the CPU.
