so i found the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 on amazon for £56, i was initially was going to get the gigabyte ds3p for £49. do you think it is worth spending an extra £7 for the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0.

plus how far can i overcock an fx 6300 with a hyper t4 on the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 and the gigabyte ds3p.

do you recommend the asus m5a97 le R2.0 motherboard? and what is the difference the the le and non le, should i worry about this.

thanks.

Do not get the M5A97 r2.0 LE for overclocking. Get the non LE version or the EVO for overlcoking. The reason for me saying this is that M5A97 r2.0 LE does not come with a VRM heatskink which is quite vital for overclocking. I would also advise to get an aftermarket cooler such as the cooler master hyper 212 evo. Hope this helps

So out of the gigabyte ga 970a-ds3p and the asus m5a97 r2.0 le which one do you recommend overall. And how far can I overclock on the gigabyte ga 970a-ds3p with the hyper 212 Evo?

In the uk the gigabyte ga 970a-ds3p is cheaper by 10 pounds.

On which board? People are saying otherwise , and claim you cannot overclock stable 4GHz on the ds3p , I just ordered that board since it was on sale at ebuyer.

Neither. Because they don't have the vrm section need for overclocking. As I suggested get the non Le for version for overclocking
