Hey everyone,
as the title says, after i updated my M5A97 R2.0 bios to the latest version, 2603, i got some "little" problems.
First of all, when i turn on my PC every day for the first time, the monitor got no signal. 2-3 reset and then it works.
Second, when i got my monitor running, it display a message: "overclocking failed, press F1 to enter BIOS".
Third, when i enter BIOS, and going to the "AI Tweaker" tab, it freezes. Nothing works, but resetting the system.

After the update, i loaded the optimized default settings, and only changed the CPU core ON-OFF function, and changed to the Performance setting at the first screen.

If any more information need, just tell me.

Thanks,
steve

Solution
May try again update the BIOS using the USB bios flashback. I think there maybe something wrong during the BIOS update.
Hello I have the exactly same problem. CMOS reset in BIOS and updating to the new Beta driver Asus has released will solve your problem.

Lessons learned?
1. Never fix something that already works.
2. This MOBO is really really bad. So many issues has been reported.

I face the same issue. Could you please send me the link for these new Asus' Beta drivers?

Thanks!

You can risk bricking you MOBO tho'.

Just google it. I'm afraid, that I will not take any resposibilties.

Actually by reapplying BIOS update (same version:2603) the problem is fixed :) No need for new drivers
