Hello i have an Asus m5a99fx pro r2 + fx 8350
I have been using 2x 4 gb corsair vengeance ram I feel a need to increase my ram since unable to play some games in full settings(for honour only playable at full low settings) I have an msi rx 480 8 gb on some game titles
If I keep ultra settings my pc fully crashes
My question is
adding an additional
8 gb corsair vengeance ram will it work so that I can play games at max settings
Do advise

Solution

I would get another set of the Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 (what you have already). It's in stock and you take much less of a gamble on compatibility when running the same type of memory. The type you already have is cheaper and runs at the same frequency by default. You're sure to compliment the memory you already have by buying the exact same...
If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if you can place an additional 2x4GB sticks into the third and fourth RAM slots. As long as it's the same RAM type as what you currently have (i.e., same frequency), it will absolutely work. The R 2.0 supports a maximum of 32GB of memory. From what you've described, you and I have the exact same setup (except I have the 4GB MSI RX480, not the 8GB version)...I maxed my memory out at the full 32GB and it runs very well.

Memory manufacturers guarantee memory in the form sold and not in any other combinations. Since the memory has never been tested together you will be the first to try with no guarantees as to how it works if the PC boots up.

AM3+ FX CPUs can use 1866MHz with one DIMM per channel or 1600MHz with two DIMMs per channel. Higher speeds require overclocking the system.

since i have an cooler master 212x for cooling the fx 8350 unable to use the one ram slot near the processor
the situation is im using 2 x 4Gb corsair ram in dual slot in mobo (blue slots) so i have only one slot remaining .
can i buy a single 8 gb corsair vengeance ram and put in the remaining slot WILL IT WORK ,will the mobo accept such configuration and enhance my gaming configuration .....will it be worth it ...or totally pointless..?

There are no guarantee it will work or how it will work if the PC does boot up.

Not to mention you never identify the memory speed or actual part numbers or if you even know anything about memory speeds, DRAM timings and how to set them.

You roll the dice and take a chance if you want to make such a combination.

SO SHOULD I GO WITH 4 GB OR 8 GB

I would go with the same size...so if you're already running a 2x4GB pair, I'd get a second pair of exactly the same RAM you're currently using (2x4GB) so that it all lines up. 16GB should be more than enough room to run darn near anything at this point.

hey guys i guess i have another problem
i bought an 8 gb corasair ram
(https://www.amazon.in/Corsair-Vengeance-DDR3-Memory-CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10/dp/B005T63BJM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1534254159&sr=8-5&keywords=corsair+ram++8 )
