Asus M5A99x Evo R2.0 + AMD FX-8350 red light

Even though they both are compatible with one another there is a red light that comes on,

Also i have tried to put in Two different types of RAM

a Crusial 2 x 4gb and an older Corsair 1 x 2gb to test it out, both times they show a flashing red light.

i have been working 2 months to try to fix the problem, replacing motherboards as i was sent a faulty one and a fault graphics card, would really appreciate the help

There is no beeping, the fans turn on etc but no beeps

erm i plugged in my 5.1 system, and the audio is connected to the mobo
