I have recently installed this open box motherboard from Newegg. I had put the memory, G Skill 8GB 1866Mghz, initially in the wrong slots, A1 and B1, while receiving A4 I think, then 40. I read in the ASUS forums that this happened to another person. They had done the same thing on it was in B1 and B2. Their Q-code was there 20 minutes, but mine is there til I shutdown. Now, with the memory in the right slots, A2 and B2, I still get the Q-code on some startups and coming out of sleep mode. Its about 70/30 for this to happen. Any idea what the problem is and how to fix it. My specs: i5-4690k, GTX 760 SLI, G Skill 1866Mghz 8GB, ASUS MAXIMUS HERO VII, AX 760 PSU, PNY Optima Series 120GB SSD, WB 1TB Blue, ASUS DvD Drive.

To disable this, right click your start menu and go to Power Options, then select Choose what the Power button does, then under Shutdown settings you can disable Fast Startup. Also, disable Fast Boot in your...
