Hi, I can't find the two USB 2.0 headers locations on the 'Maximus IX Formula'. I've found one that shares space with the 'ROG_EXT' connections but I'm unsure where the second one is . . . ?

I have read the manual and it makes nothing clear. It reads as follows:

"1 x USB 2.0 port(USB1314) at mid-board shares pins with ROG extension (ROG_EXT) port."

I have used the set of pins (9 pin header) to the right but can't see the other location in the manual or with any certainty on the mobo, therefore, as I asked in the original post: Where are both USB 2.0 headers located?

Just got the same mobo. Looks like there's only 1 USB 2 header and that's the one next to the ROG extension header. I've just bought an NZXT internal usb expander. Why the heck is there only 1 USB 2 header in a motherboard of this price!?

Yeah, I've had to use the NZXT hub as one header is just not enough in any scenario, especially for a board this expensive . . . unless we're missing something?

There is only one USB2.0 header good for 2 usb device.
I have to extract the 4 little pin from then connector of my corsair H80i v2 USB cable too merge them on the same connector from my PSU USB corsair link. so now i can connect my water cooling and the PSU corsair link on the USB1314 9pins.
Can someone tell me if those 8 pins(ROG EXT) on the left of the USB1314 9 pins can be use as usb2.0 header?

tks
