What WiFi Card do I need to put on the asus maximus ix hero to enable wireless i have googled it and havent got a clear answer

Any USB or PCIe card will work. PCIe usually has better antenna options.

If you want too of the line the ASUS 4x4 PCE-AC88 will get you there.

For $100+, I could hire someone to run a cable ... usually I just do myself the the godz know where my crimp tool is. I bought a USB one about 9 years ago ... just in case ... still in the shrink wrap. TP link. never thot much of .... have had best luck with netgears but never had many calls to fix a D0Link either.
