ASUS MAXIMUS VI GENE Supported Ram?

I have received my motherboard (MAXIMUS VI GENE) along with a haswell 4770k, H100I and an asus gtx 780. Due to cost i was hoping to run the system for the time being with my 600w psu and corsair 8gb xms3 1333mhz ram kit is my current ram compatible with my motherboard so that i can use it until i get a new ram kit? here are the specs to my current ram http://www.corsair.com/en/memory-by-product-family/xms-classic/tr3x6g1333c9.html

Mushkin ram is good but this is better.

Obviolsy you dont have to stick with 1866 theres 2400 aswell if thats what you really looking for. Is this just a gaming build?

will be for gaming but also some cad photoshop and some rendering for uni as i was thinking about 8gb but wll need more ram for large cad files so was thinking about 32

For gaming i would go with a 1866 since you want to be able to do other editing programs be sure to get 32gb to ensure to no problems when running these applications. I would go with something like this:

Just stick with Corsair Vengeance and you will be fine. 32GB of ram is not cheap though.

it would benefit some but you can just OC the 1866 to 2133 if you have sufficient cooling and get better performance that way, btw you dont really need 32GB i have 16GB of Ripjaw X at 1866 OC to 2133 and my autocad program utilizes about 8GB most at max and 16GB is just for comfort but if you want 32GB you are more than welcome.
