I have a fairly new build. Asus ROG z490 board with intel i9.

When I start computer I get a 00 bios error and then the OLED states check CPU. It does that 1x more but the PC boots to windows no problems.

I don’t think it’s the MoBo as I was sent a replacement. I ran the intel diagnostics on cpu and it checks out fine. Reflashed bios.

Thoughts?

"I don't have your board but most of the time code 00 is caused by three things, a faulty psu, motherboard or cpu. Testing with three psu's I think we can rule out the psu.
There are other things that can cause code 00 like bent cpu socket pins, corrupt bios, failed memory training. "
Mine also Z97 spits out CPU sometimes but it works fine for over a year.

Which CPU cooler do you use?

The cooler used now is the corsair h115i pro rgb platinum. Could that be causing it too.
The PSU is Corsair AX1000.

I swapped out MoBo. Same model.
The first MoBo was having problems and giving a code 00 check cpu ONLY when I installed a second Nvme SSD. And the second drive would not be recognized by the BIOS.
