Basically what this article is saying is that Asus on its i915 and i925 mobo's there is a setting called 'PEG Link Mode'. This option is defaulted to enable and what it does is automatically overclock ati Video cards. This in effect increases there score on the benchmarks all the while the end user thinks its a stock speed on the video card. Interesting read indeed, check it out.

Really I wouldn't care about this except, this gives ATI a reason to deny waranty claims (damage from overclocking). And since most people wouldn't even know about this, it really wouldn't be their fault. (Yes I understand the chance are slim of this mild overclock doing damage, but what keeps ATI from denying any waranty of any card used in these boards.)
