ASUS Motherboard DARM LED solid red light

Hello,
I just built my first PC and plugged in everything correctly. The computer turns on but the DRAM LED is a solid red. the fans are running perfectly and the computer doesn't shut down unless I'm the one turning it off. Also when I plug my computer into my TV monitor the TV doesn't detect it.

Can anyone help me out with these issues???

Motherboard - ASUS Z97-AR
CPU - Intel i5-4690K
RAM - 2 8 GB sticks
I havn't been able to install my Windows 7 yet...

Help would be grately appreciated.

Turn off and unplug your computer and double check that you have properly installed the RAM into place. You may not have it "snapped" all the way in.

Ok I did that. Now there is a red light at the BOOT_DEVICE_LED

Ok nevermind about the new red light. I restarted and the light went away.

When I started installing Windows 7 on the computer a blue screen showed up saying that there was an incorrectable hardwear error. Do you have any idea how to fix that?
