Power indicator on the motherboard still lights up, so I assumed that the PSU is ok. This is a new build and it had had worked before fine. One of the small cylinders near the battery was very hot. I tried replacing the motherboards battery, that didn't work. Nothing else felt hot so I figured it was the motherboard. It is an Asus motherboard and I herd those are good quality. When this happened, I had just put the wires for the power button and case lights back to the way they worked before. I switched them around to see if the power button would light up. It turned on when they were switched, but when they were put back to normal some thing happened. I thought the power button wires could have been a coincidence though. Please help. Not sure what happened. Look online and thought it could have been some sort of electric shock. By the way, screen won't show. It won't boot up at all, even to bios, fan doesn't turn on, etc. everything is plugged in the way it was when it worked.
