ASUS Motherboard not recognizing all ram

Hi Guys:

Just finished my custom build, my 2nd time, and my ASUS A85XM-A is not recognizing all my RAM. I have Crucial Ballistix 4GB X2 =8GB but the BIOS only shows 6GB. This didn't happne when I built my 1st Custom PC back in 2010. Guys have any suggestions? Thanks

Specs:

AMD A6 APU
ASUS A85XM-A
Crucial Ballistix 4 GB X 2 = 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ
Thermaltake 600W
Kingston SSD
Toshiba HDD

Could be bad RAM sticks, do you have an OS installed? What does that show?

So I mean the 4GB on 1 slot is used, but 2gb is missing on the other part..

EDIT: ASUS tech support hung up on me twice. IM FED UP with ASUS. Also, I have to REMOVE THE BATTERY every time to boot the PC.
