There is this driver for my mobo that's called 'ASUS Product Registration Program V1.0.028 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.'.

Do I need to register my motherboard/what does it do/do I need to install it?
I have the same question with the files under Qualified Vendor List, what are they/do I need it?

It's under "Hotfix"

No, you technically do not "need" it, but i would register your motherboard. As for the QVL, it is just a list of compatible components for the motherboard.

Same thing for my motherboard. After i registered i deleted the 'ASUS Product Registration Program V1.0.028 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.'. No need to have it installed after registering, and if you keep it installed, it will keep popping up and bugging you for no reason.

What do you get from registering the motherboard, I'm gonna do my first boot tomorrow and I'm excited but I'm putting the drivers on a USB first.

Simplifies the process for if you ever have to RMA your product. That's really about it.
