Monitor: Alienware AW2725QF Dual-Mode (4k 180hz and FHD 360hz)

My monitor looks very pixelated and fuzzy in FHD mode. I know FHD looks bad, but mine looks way worse than a normal 1080p. Everything looks good in the 4k mode though.

I changed the settings, reset to default settings, and tried with different computers.

Could this be normal because it's a Dual-Mode monitor, or is it faulty ?

How are you hooked up to your monitor off your display source? Are you using the cables bundled with the monitor? Speaking of display source, what GPU are you working with? Driver version for said GPU? What OS are you working with?

Connected to RX 7800XT with display port 1.4.

GPU driver is updated

Windows 11, and windows 10.

Tried with different computers and cables, has the same issue

The Dual-Mode monitor may look slightly pixelated in FHD mode if its native resolution is higher (such as 4K or QHD). This is because the display has to scale the lower resolution, which can reduce sharpness and clarity.

I figured out that it's normal
For 1080p signal - every pixel becomes 2x2 pixels on 4k screen.
The larger size of your screen is - more noticeable pixellation will become.

You may want to experiment with image scaling options.
Image scaling can be done by monitor itself or by graphics card driver.
Switch between image scaling options and see, which one gives better result.
