I've been trying to find the answer to my question all day... This forum seems very active, so here goes:
I have come across a puzzling question while graphic card shopping.
The Nvidia specs for the MX440 line of chips say that the chip does *not* support nfiniteFX, a feature of DirectX 8. The Asus website says their card, based on the Nvidia chip *does* support the nfiniteFX II engine and is DirectX 8 capable.
Can anyone explain this discrepency? I doubt Asus has made a mistake. Could they be "exagerating" their product's abilities? Or have they modified the basic chip to the point of having that feature added?
Here are the links:

If the Asus really has the nfiniteFX then I'd guess it's worth the couple of extra dollars. If not, I'll save the bucks and go with MSI.
Any replies are much appreciated.
