Asus nvidia gtx 760 - 80C while gaming ? bad??

Recently i noticed that my gpu was getting high temperature than it used to have ... it was showing 75+ ! so i thought that i could re paste the thermal paste ... i hope that do it ... but now my gpu run at 40C at idle and when im gaming it gone up to 80C... i tried re doing it again ... but nothing changed !! please help anyone !

80c isn't bad for a GPU. You can basically run it like that and not damage it. You should make sure that you used proper thermal paste and applied it correctly.

Anything below 85 degrees for the GTX 760 is fine.

I Used a termal paste called Hutixi ... that's what i got from the local store !! I used the same for the cpu but its not going over 68C !! But for the gpu its a different story ! the gpu went up to 82C while i was playing wwe 2k15!
P.S can thermal paste actually used on GPU's or should we use thermal pads ??
