I'm looking for an Asus board, P4 Prescott, 2gigs plus memory, 5 PCI
slots, AGP slot. I don't need on board sound, video, or ethernet. I
was looking at the 800 series but I'm under the impression that Asus
is fazing it out and am not sure how future proof it might be. Thanks
for any recommendations.

Asus boards tend to have a lot of features on them. Over all I think they're
the best boards made. I have several including a couple P4C800-ED boards.
Some folks seem to have some glitches with them but mine have worked real
well. Asus is fazing them out, just like every other board they have made or
will make. You need to decide what you'll need for the near future and get a
board with as much expansion and upgrade ability as you think you'll need
