Question CPU overheating

Ive been having issues with some intensive games. My PC will bluescreen and restart, i assume as its over heating. Its sometimes after like 30 minutes of playing, sometimes its pretty quick. Im Using an AIO Liquid cooler and its been running hot when i game. I dont know much about troubleshooting AIO Liquid Coolers. What are my options for troubleshooting? Beyond reseating, and reapplying thermal paste, what are the other options that can help with this issue? If you need more information please let me know.

Another option is returning. Your CPU could be degraded through no fault of your own. Scroll down to, 'Instability and degradation issue,' section.

I wouldn't chance it - just RMA it.

Thank you, i didnt hear about this. I ran a cpu stress test, and it immediately went to 100 degrees.

What model motherboard are you using?
What model AIO cpu cooler are you using?
Can you show a photo of your system with side panel removed?

Anyway - update motherboard BIOS to latest version.
Read BIOS update notes. Sometimes BIOS update may need to be done in multiple steps.
Set cpu power limits in BIOS.
PL1 125W, PL2 188W, Iccmax 249A.

This should fix cpu overheating (unless your AIO cpu cooler is failing).
If crashes don't stop after this, then your cpu may be already degraded.

Intel (again) Addresses Instability in 13th and 14th Gen Core i5/i7 CPUs with New Microcode

Intel once again has announced new measures to address instability issues found in some 13th and 14th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” processors, specifically targeting Core i5 and i7 models.

AIO Cooler- ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360

i can get a picture of it in the morning.

I am gonna reapply thermal paste, and reseat it when it gets here tomorrow. After that, i will try those power limits, and if that doesnt work hopefully they will have gotten back to me about the RMA. Ive had it for about 2 years and its always run hot, but not this hot.
