hello, so I got an Asus p6t socket 1366 motherboard and currently I'm troubleshooting:
When I connect all the needed psu cables to the mb, slap cpu in there as well as ram and cpu cooler, it doesn't work. When the power is connected the power and reset buttons will light up, but it can't be turned on and fans won't start to spin. Any idea on what to do in this situation?

What are you doing for a display output? Newer cards are going to be looking for a UEFI BIOS and this doesn't have one.

These boards are well past end of life. Mine started losing memory channels over a decade ago. At this point you might start looking at capacitor replacement.

Have you tried a different random memory stick? Could just be bad.

You also need to look through the manual for single stick population rules. Triple channel boards have some pretty specific rules about which slots to populate for single stick, single channel, dual channel, and triple channel configs.
