Good morning everyone,
the system specs are as follows:
Asus p8-z77-v lx motherboard
i7 3770k cpu
Corsair bronze 750watt psu
Kingston hyper x beast ddr2? ram 16gb 2 x 8gb sticks
Gpu Asus Nividia Geforce 660 Ti
I know the source of the problem which is a couple, of USB ports, the pins are bent or contacting part of the system thus shorting out the board before it boots, everything else was working fine til a week or more ago.
Is there anyway either using a bios editing tool or any known way to switch the ports off, or even desolder them off etc to fix this really annoying
"overcharge current status message I keep getting"
Thanks
