Hey guys, im running out of options here, i have an asus motherboard P8H61 M LE rev 1.03 2nd Generation core i5. When i install the driver (VGA Media Accelerator:Intel) and rebooted windows 10 wont load up anymore im getting an error. this is the same problem that i have with my ATI Radeon 5450. i tried everybit of OS windows 7, 8,8.1 and lastly 10 to no avail. please help

Solution
Looking at your motherboard, the operating system with best choice of drivers is Win 7, Win 8 has lass again and win 10 is even less. Its likely other hardware devices were also causing errors as they may not have been written for win 10 in mind.

You could try the ATI card in Win 7, it should work with that OS as it did before I assume.

Your hardware getting to the stage you should either buy a new PC or be happy on win 7, as its not going to get any easier on Win 10. The latest bios is 2 1/2 years old now, soon it won't recognise new hardware or could already be causing conflicts with commands sent by win 10.
you shouldn't have the Intel drivers installed if you have an external card such as the 5450, you can't run both as they overwrite each other. If you remove the AMD card the Intel drivers might work.

what is error coming from AMD card? What happens? Your 5450 is on the Crimson legacy drivers now so that could be part of problem, are yoiu getting random black screens at boot?

Hi Colif thanks for your reply, Good news I've managed to solve my problem with the Graphics Accelerator for the built in Graphics card. One problem i've noticed is that when i remove the ATI Radeon and do a clean install (OS 64bit) thats where im getting issues like BSOD of differnt kinds and i almost threw my PC outside and cursed Asus for making a mobo with a lot of issues with different OS. and when i install the ATI 5450 im getting different kinds of BSOD as well. spent countless hours in troubleshooting, reformatting and looking for answers. Finally i have a windows 8.1 x86 installed it including the drivers and it work perfectly like a charm BUT as soon as i put in the dreaded ATI card thats where again encountered several BSOD. so to cut to the chase i removed the card and uninstalled the drivers for the ATI. still i want to use my graphics card but i couldnt find any answers about my problems with it. ATI suggested that i should use the 15.7.1 catalyst which i did and even installed its chipset drivers, it work for a couple of min then BAM BSOD. im thinking of switching to NVIDIA but this Card (ATI) is still working does it have some issues (ATI 5450) vs OS? or maybe my card is already faulty? i dont know it works before but all of a sudden it doesnt whether on a 64 bit or 32 bit im still getting BSOD.

im running 32 bit OS on a 64 bit processor.

Thanks Colif, i have tried windows 7 pro on a 64 bit but its still the same thing. but i havent tried using windows 7 32 bit. one thing i have noticed though is that everytime i remove the ATI card it is really really hot. my cpu temp is sky rocketing then that's where i get multiple errors. it work before on windows 10 after my upgrade for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden it keeps giving me BSOD and just looping around. ill observe this windows 8.1 and ill try the NVIDIA, any suggestions?

Yes they are, i always do a regular maintenance on my desktop, however i only have 2 fans, but it used to work before, right now im running on 32 bit without the ATI 5450 and it works perfectly well, temp is normal.

update, conif i think i found whats causing my BSOD. it just turned out i have a bad memory stick, ill try to reinstate the card later and ill give you a feedback

ok so far so good, i have installed the ATI back and it detected it and working, no BSOD so far, do i need to install the chipset of amd? and the catalyst?
