I recently upgraded to Sandybridge and got an Asus P8P67-M Rev 3.0 Motherboard, Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz 2x2GB Memory and Intel Core i5 2500K CPU, Gigabyte Odin 585W PSU etc etc.. I am still using the Intel Stock Cooler and my CPU idles at 38-42C but goes all the way up to 75C under load... so i decided to get a better cooler for my CPU, but i am not sure what exactly to get and i am worried whether it would fit.. the CPU coolers i am interested in (which will fit into my budget) are the Zalman CNPS7X and the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ SO my question is which of these two coolers should i get and which one would fit ? I Have my 2x2GB Vengeance memory installed in the first and second black ram slots... and would it be a problem if i had to move them to the blue ram slots ? (sorry i am a bit new to PC building)

Any suggestions / help would be much appreciated.

Most any would fit, but I like the 120mm fan on the hyper 212. A larger fan turns slower, delivering more cooling airflow at a lower noise level.

I am using that same motherboard, and there is no problem in using the more distant blue slots.

The hyper212 is not a deep cooler, so moving the ram will probably not be necessary.
