Question Asus p8z68-v pro network speed

I apologize for this dumb question but I can't seem to find the answer. Does the motherboard listed support 10/100/1000? It says intel gigabit ethernet but I cannot get it to connect to 1000mbits. Our router is a wifi6e on a 1.5gbs fibe line. I am using cat5e but I'm pretty sure that supports 1gbs.

What OS are you working with? BIOS version for your motherboard?

I figured it out. I had a bad terminal on my cat5e so replacing it with a new crimp worked. Thank you!
