ASUS P8Z68-V PRO won't POST with 2 memory sticks in. But tested individually they both work fine.

I have two crosair veneance chips and they both work perfectly when installed in the first memory slot individually. I can get to BIOs, however when I install both at the same time in both blue slots for dual mode the motherboard test lights stop and light up on the memory LED and doesn't POST. Actually, the computer wont POST when any combination of slot the memory is inserted into. What could be the issue here? I'm stumped. Is this memory not compatible? Is there a BIOS adjustment I need to make? What would be the most common problem for a board to get stuck on the memory light when 2 are inserted at the same time and work perfectly with it only one?

All help appreciated!

I actually cant remember right now if I tried each one individually in all slots and I'm work so I cant check it until I get back home.

If the other 3 slots are tested individually and and doesn't post, only the B2 slot. (furthest blue slot from the CPU) POSTS, then would this be a ram slot failure on the other 3 slots?

I just received this motherbaord about a month ago. I haven't updated the BIOS. Do you think this may fix memory issues?

Ok so when I get home I'll try the all remaining slots. If not all the slots work I'll check the CPU. It dropped in its socket perfectly but I'll check it to make sure nothing is bent, and re-set the cpu and fan.

Sorry for posting back a few days later, got tied up with stuff. So I got home that day and updated the BIOS and checked each slot individually with working ram.
Slots B1(black) and B2(blue) both work and I was actually able to add the 2 memory sticks to them and boot up ok. Not sure if the BiOS fixed that or not.
However, slots A1(black) and A2(blue) dont work with single rams nor work. So I have 2 working and 2 non working.
Any suggestions?
