Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm not exactly computer savvy so I apologize in advance.
Recently I bought two new RAM sticks and they didn't seem to work when I add them to my motherboard (ASUS P8Z77-M), I updated the BIOS with the most recent version and all it did was allowing two different sticks to work together, so at least I know they are compatible.

My RAM sticks are 2x Corsair Vengeance LP and 2x Kingston 10600 Cl9 240.

Here are my specs:

Processor
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz

Video Card
AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series

RAM
8.0 GB

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit

BIOS
BIOS Date: 12/15/15 16:37:02 Ver: 22.03
Version
American Megatrends Inc. 2203
Manufacturer
American Megatrends Inc.
Date
12/15/15

Can anybody help? Thank you in advance!

Mixing multiple kits together can cause a PC to be unable to boot or unable to operate at rated specifications. Such combinations carry no guarantee to work together by memory manufacturers.

A work around may be lowering the memory clock to a slower speed to get them to work.

Hi, thanks for answering. I just tested it and the third and fourth slots don't work. The PC keeps rebooting and a red light turns on the motherboard.

Hi, thanks for answering. It's weird because the computer works if I put on one of each, it didn't do that before I updated the BIOS, but now it does, maybe they are compatible?

It might be a bent pin in the CPU socket. Try removing the CPU and check the socket. You can post a picture of it here.

Hi, sorry for taking so long to answer. Here are the pics: http://imgur.com/a/FxXzI

I didn't see anything bent (not that I'm doubting your expertise) so I took some more pictures with an actual camera. http://imgur.com/a/TafJR

It looks to me like one pin is missing and one is slightly bent (the one under the missing pin).
But I might be wrong. Try a closer look with a magnifying glass and comparing it with:

Here a closer look:

It looks like someone tried already to straighten several pins (on the left of the missing pin).
Is it a new board, or you've bought an used one?

It's quite an old board, I think I bought it in 2012 or 2013, can't remember.
Now that I took a good look it does seem like there are some bent pins, and others that are alright missing. I'm not gonna try to straight the bent ones because I don't want to fuck things up. Is there any possibility of the problem being something else?
