Hi guys. I recently did a clean install of windows and have installed all the drivers for my MOBO but i can't connect to my SKY router. I know this is not an issue with the router as before it was fine and i have other devices that connect fine ( mobile, laptop , tv) I'm currently using my phone as a tether to my pc.

Everything on control panel is fine and shows as working correctly. I do get an issue with USB controllers and a Multimedia audio controller that i can't seem to install drivers for, not sure if this would be related.

Whenever i try to connect to my router i just get a general cant connect error, even when i disable security on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
yep got that that. I've downloaded and installed all the latest drivers from the support page. One thing that is different is that on my control panel it reads Broadcom 802.11g Network adapter & Remote NDIS based internet sharing device as opposed to when it was working it just read wifi and wifi go for the services.
 
Hi, I've spent hours to solve this, now it works, i did this :
- check BIOS, if BT and wifi is enabled
- check if on your router aren't any security settings enabled (MAC adress limits etc)
- as alexoiu says : uninstall wifigo suite, BT and wifi drivers (everything relevant), download latest and install in order : 1) wifi, 2) BT, 3) AI suite (wifigo + wifi engine)
- restart router and try to connect
- after all that I finally got a connect
 
Just did exactly as redsnapper said and in that order. Still getting a generic can't connect error. Windows diagnostic says its a problem with the adapter or router. The error report is this :
