Whenever I try to start it, it almost immediately shuts down and restarts only to get stuck in a cycle of starting and stopping every few seconds. This is the first computer I am building my self, the main specs are:

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Power supply: CORSAIR CSM Series CS550M 550W ATX12V v2.4 and EPS 2.92 80
CPU: Intel Core i5-2320 CPU @ 3.00GHz
Cooling Unit: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Hard drive: 1TB internal Seagate
RAM 1: Kingston KP382H-HYC 4gb Dimm Ddr3 Pc3-10600u (1333mhz) 2rx8
RAM 2: MT8JTF25664AZ-1G4M1 CTX 2GB 240p PC3-10600 CL9 8c 256x8 DDR3-1333 1Rx8 1.5V UDIMM NIB-100 China, Micron

The CPU and hard drive are both from the Dell desktop I had before this.

Also, before this, I would start it up only for it to shut down and restart (only once) before getting stuck with the DRAM_LED light on solid. It was after I had pressed the MemOK button to reset/recheck the RAM that the current problem arose.

Solution
With mixed DRAM no surprise there are problems, try and see if it will boot wih each stick by itself...if so both are good, then start it with the Kingston stick and set the DRAM voltage to 1.6, save exit, shutdown and try adding the second stick...if no joy, it's probable these sticks just won't play together, be much better off with a set of two sticks from a single package
