Hey, my second time posting on the forums.
I am trying to help my brother with his 4 yr old computer that has an MB Asus P9X79 LE with G.Skills Ripjaws X DDR3 1866mhz 4GB ram. The problem is that the ram is running at 1600mhz instead of 1866mhz. When I went into the BIOS to set it to 1866mhz, the computer did run for a while, like 30 minutes but then it restarted and kept going into a restart loop. I had to switch it back to 1600mhz for the computer to run again without any restart issues. How do I fix it so that the computer can run the ram at 1866mhz?
