Just built my first computer I installed Windows 10 and the bios that came on the disc with my mobo and put them on a USB then onto my new PC. My issue is that the card is connected to my wifi but I can't download anything or even use the Internet the page simply fails to load.
I'm using the Asus PCE-AC56 on an Asus z170-a motherboard I figured they would work well together with no issues but it's simply not loading anything. The wifi is indeed working as I can use the Internet on my other computer so it has to be this wifi card in the new PC. I'm using just a 3G sprint mobile hotspot for my wifi it's the only thing that works out were I live so I can't get better internet but this wifi card should be able to use that connection. Plz any help would really save me from just giving up and taking it to like Best Buy to get looked at

Take a look at your wireless configuration. Make sure everything is as it should be with respect to your network.

Could be that your router and wireless adapter are not handshaking well.

Or interference from other wireless networks.

Try running the "ping", "tracert", and "pathping" commands via the Command Prompt. Identify any bottlenecks that may exist.

Run and post the results of "ipconfig /all". The results may help identify the problem.

Please verify: the computer you built is on your wireless network (it can see other network devices) but will not connect to the internet. Printing and file sharing work.

By "page simply fails to load" you mean you open the browser, enter the URL, and then nothing.... Correct?

Is this your card?

Did you download the drivers from Asus and then configure the adapter to match your wireless network settings.

Suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the adapter and drivers.

Sorry for the long wait I've been working. And sorry I should have had a link to the elegant item, which you have found is In fact my new WLAN card. So I reinstalled drivers and it " works" now. I've never had fast internet but I would usually have 100 to 150Kbs download rate and I put up with it cuz that's the only internet out here but with the new rig I'm only getting 15 to 30 Kbs.... There's gotta be somthing up with that. I mean my download rate was bad befor but I could still play games on most games on NA severs with like 200 ping and have fun but if this slower download rate means an even worse connection I won't be able to play anything at all
