Hi, just installed an AC56 into my computer, booted up windows and it doesnt see it at all, went to the BIOS and it also doesnt show anything plugged into the PCI-E slot that I put it in. Is there an easy way to tell if its the card thats broken or the slot, or just fix this issue? I double checked and im sure its plugged in properly.

The easiest way would be to put it in another pc to see if it works. If its not showing up in the bios that there is a networking card inserted, then its most likely dead. Try another PCI-e maybe?

I have now learned you can plug a PCI-e x1 card into a x16 slot, so I did that and it now works fine. Guess the x1 slot on my mobo is dead.
