I am looking to upgrade the RAM on my Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard from 64GB to 128GB (I run lots of Virtual Machines...)

However, I am finding some discrepancies on Asus website.

This page lists the Maximum RAM for this board at 64GB:

While This page lists the Maximum RAM at 128GB:

My CPU supports 128GB

Does anyone know which of these Tech Spec pages are correct? Anyone here running 128GB in an Asus Prime Z390-A

I'd like to know before I go drop a bunch of $$ on RAM.

Thanks!

The Manual says "You may install 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB unbuffered and non-ECC DDR4 DIMMs into the DIMM sockets."

That would limit it to 64 GB of RAM, so I'm :confused2: why they have two different spec sheets showing two different MAX RAM numbers...

Maybe a BIOS update increased the DIMM support to 32 GB after the manual was written???

I see Version 1005 and Version 1105 both say "Improved DRAM compatibility." in the changelog, but I haven't found any more specifics.

Memory QVL for 4X 32GB of memory, it's a download and I'm not downloading it.

EDIT newegg also list the max as 64GB so I would contact Asus if you need 128GB .
